The “DIGITAL SPRINGBOARD” project utilizes the digital signage of TOKYO NODE to showcase digital artists’ video works in public spaces. The exhibited works will be solicited through an open call based on themes linked to events held at “NEORT++” and TOKYO NODE. Up to four works will be selected by the organizers.
Through these digital art displays, the project aims to stimulate the creativity of visitors and office workers in Toranomon while generating vibrancy in the city. In commemoration of the TOKYO NODE OPEN LAB, the works will be presented using the signage at Toranomon Hills Station.
“Actor Network”
Our cities are intricate networks where people and technology, history and future, physical and digital spaces are deeply intertwined. For this third edition, with Toranomon Hills Station signage as a new stage, we invite works of digital art that visualize the hidden relationships within the urban environment and create new connections.
We welcome your participation in this initiative, where your work becomes part of the city, resonating with people, technology, and places, and providing new contexts to the urban landscape.
