In March 2025, as part of a major exterior renovation of the Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C. building, three large LED cubes, each up to 6 meters square, were newly installed on the South Building's facade. Architectural and design firm NOIZ was responsible for the overall design, creating a new landscape that opens the atrium space to the city by removing existing louvers.
The three LED cubes installed on the South Building's facade are a medium that broadcasts art tailored to the atmosphere of Futako-Tamagawa and the lifestyles of the people living there, based on the concept of "cubes that resonate with the city." They aim to become a place of "daily enjoyment" for visiting customers, constantly evolving day by day.
